The kitchen is the heart of the camp site, and the Modcon L shaped kitchen is the stand out feature that C3 owners love. An easy access pantry sits above the large stainless steel prep bench, a quick clean three burner stove and sink is next to that and an optional fridge is next to that. The whole kitchen is well lit and sits alongside the side wall of the camper, out of the weather and in the shade.
The 270° awning gives comprehensive shade and weather protection right the way round the kitchen area, allowing for enough space for all the family in all weather conditions.
The C3 utilises the latest composite panel technology to make a strong, light and well insulated hybrid camper. The roof and side walls are made of foam core, fibre glass composite sandwich panels, while the floor is a PVC honeycomb panel designed for impact resistance. An external aluminium frame bonds it all together making a monocoque build of excellent strength and thermal rating.
The spaces for doorways, hatches and windows are CNC routed for exact fit, producing an impervious structure that has very little thermal leakage making for an extremely comfortable living environment in all weather conditions.
The high insulation rating of the composite panels also better manages condensation on cold winter mornings by providing a thermal barrier between inside and outside temperatures. Water cannot penetrate the closed cell foam core, so rotting frames and hidden water damaged walls are problems of the past.
The easy lift, clam shell roof design allows for super quick set up and a sleeping area that is ensconsed in 30mm thick composite roof and walls, making for comfort and quiet in all weather conditions. The clam shell roof panel itself is a 30mm composite with excellent thermal and noise dampening properties.

A TARE of 1800kg and an ATM of 2500kg provides a best in class payload of 700kg. Combined with a 2.3m width and 6.3m length, the C3 offers a package that is light and easy to tow but has enough payload to carry plenty of gear. Having a weight well below the average 4WD’s towing capacity means you are not pushing the limits and turns a potentially stressful experience into an enjoyable one. Drawing on the last 20 years of camper trailer manufacturing experience, Modcon have designed and built the ultimate in luxury off road touring.
The Queen size innerspring mattress is under a 30mm thick roof for noise and thermal insulation. The double bunk beds convert into a huge settee with the click of two catches. (Bunk beds 1850mm x 650mm).
Setting up when you arrive couldn’t be easier. The lightweight, clam shell lid is an easy, one person lift, the awning is also a quick set up and provides comprehensive cover and the kitchen and fridge slide out in seconds ready for some camp cooking. Travellers on road trips often don’t even bother unhitching from the car ready for an early getaway the next day.
Despite its compact size, the C3 is also very comfortable. Unlike in campers with fold out bed areas, the bed is located under a 30mm thick insulated roof area that better manages condensation and is quieter in heavy rain. It also has a proper queen size mattress that most people find comfortable but if not, can be easily replaced by an off the shelf mattress of choice, as it doesn’t need to be folded when the camper is packed up.
Internal drawers, utilizing otherwise dead space to triple the amount of drawer storage. The optional table has a built in holder as does the top bunk guard rail.
